Last week, I received an early Mother’s Day present—a digital photo frame.
I was so excited to set it up and start reliving some favorite memories. But as I went to choose which photos to upload, I had an unexpected realization – how do I find photos that I actually care about among 1000s of photos on my camera roll?!
Thankfully, I remembered our family session from last summer with an amazing photographer from Sacramento. She captured us just as we were—connected, joyful, and completely ourselves. I found the gallery on my computer, uploaded those images to the frame… and now, every time a new photo appears, I smile.
Like, really smile.
Because I see myself. I see us.
Here are some of the images from our family session that now live inside my photo frame (and in my heart):
Our Family – Summer 2024

This Mother’s Day, I want to encourage you: press pause. Get in the frame. Let someone else handle the lens, so you can focus on what matters—being there, fully present, fully seen.
If you want to relax and have me do all the work, you know where to find me! 😉
