Find Your Perfect Pumpkin at These Bay Area Patches – 2023

Fall is here, and a trip to the countryside is a perfect way to unwind and spend bonding time with your little ones. Whether you are looking to start a new fall tradition with your family,  pick your perfect pumpkin, get that annual haystack photo, or explore new outdoor activities, you will love these local East Bay farms and all the fall harvest activities they have planned!

For the ultimate farm experience with gorgeous scenic views visit Three Nunns Farm. This real working farm grows more than 40 varieties of pumpkins, so you’re sure to find some uniquely spooky looking pumpkins for decorating your home.  The farm offers to transport strollers on their tractor rides and has one of the biggest corn mazes around. picnic tables and shade areas placed through out the farm!

When: September 23– October 31, 2023; Daily 9 AM – 6 PM.

Tickets: $12/person (2+ yrs) purchased on location. Plus, there are rides for $3-$6 each.

At this real working farm, you’ll find a huge selection of pumpkins as well as other summer and fall produce. There are live music and food trucks on special weekends. An admission ticket includes one pumpkin as well as all activities including visiting farm animals.

When: September 23 – October 31, 2023; Daily 9 AM-5 PM.

At G&S Farms, you can pick pumpkins right off-the vine and get lost in their corn maze. Other favorite seasonal activities for older kids include pumpkin-chuckin’ cannons and corn kernel sensory pool!

When: September 30 – October 30, 2023, Daily: 9 AM – 6 PM. Except: M-F Oct. 16-27: 2 PM-6 PM​,

Have you ever played bowling with pumpkins? At Joan’s Farm you can! Little ones are sure to enjoy their petting zoo and little blue train ride.

When: September 30 – October 29, 2023 (closed on Mondays except October 9), 10AM– 6PM

Where: 4351 Mines Road, Livermore.

If it’s pony rides you are looking for, you’ll  love G&M Farms (weekends only). In addition to picking your pumpkins, here your little ones can enjoy the hayride and ride the cow train.  

When: September 30 – October 29; Wednesday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM; Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Where: 487 East Airway Blvd., Livermore.

P.S. If you’re looking for something a bit more spooky, the G&M Farm’s corn maze will be Haunted on 10/21 and 10/28.
